junior year has begun

so i haven't blogged in over two weeks....my bad. after session 8 ended, welcome weekend came and went, and then school started.

i think i'm going to write about school. here it goes....

classes at bu started last week wednesday. thousands of people moved back to campus in a matter of days, and it was kind of sad to see the sidewalks along commonwealth avenue packed with people. i'm pushing my way through crowds of people who are reuniting with their friends after their respective summers away from boston while trying not to trip on the sidewalk. it takes a few extra minutes to get from the gsu to cas between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., and there are lines everywhere. craziness. so many people....then again, we're a big school; what did i expect?

okay, enough of my complaining about people traffic along comm. ave. my schedule this semester is pretty sweet even though it is packed. i have classes on tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays. on tuesdays and thursdays, my schedule looks like this:

orientation office 8:45-11 a.m.
3rd year japanese 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
lunch/homework 12:30-1:45 p.m.
discussion sections-detective fiction (tuesdays) or economics (thursdays)
detective fiction lecture 3:30-5 p.m.
economics lecture 5-6:30 p.m.

on wednesdays it looks like this:

orientation office 8:45 a.m.-noon
lunch/homework noon-1:45 p.m.
writing and reporting for broadcast news 2-5 p.m.

....that's my schedule for the semester. on mondays and fridays i work at the souvenir store or at the sports museum until 2 p.m. and then there's ultimate practice from 3:30-6 p.m. everything works itself out at some point; it's just those three days that i have to stay on task.

i stress myself out about staying on task because i know that i have a lot to do in three days. stupid me. i feel bad for my friends who listen to me stress out about the little things. sorry.

all in all, the first full week of classes was exciting. i'm slowly transitioning back to the school mode, and i do have a lot of things to do. it's all about using my time wisely. using my time wisely.

i think that's all i have to say for now; just wanted to write a little because i have the time to. hooray. i'm due for a long blog on ultimate at some point, so i'm going to prepare myself.
