i feel like i owe the people who read this an explanation of "chaotic happiness." it's pretty simple to explain after this weekend. here's what i did:
-friday, july 18: orientation session 5, day three (7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.) and then work at the souvenir store from 6:30-11:00 or so
-saturday, july 19: souvenir store from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m. (14 hours!)
-sunday, july 20: souvenir store from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
in a nutshell, i worked all weekend. but it was fun, and i was happy. and tomorrow, i'm working at the orientation office from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and then going over to fenway from 5:30-closing. i have to be busy in order to be happy. i'll bitch about the long hours and the things i have to do, but i couldn't live any other way. i know that i should take some time to myself, and i'm beginning to blog more often, so i think this is the "time to myself" that i'm talking about. my happiness comes from being busy all the time, and when my life gets chaotic, it only makes me happier. yups, i'm crazy.
anywho, i saw "finding nemo" tonight for the second time. i went with molly and ross from the souvenir store to see it at fenway. they hadn't seen it before tonight, so i was really excited for them. it was fun to hang out with people from work; i haven't done much of that this summer. i've exclusively hung out with the ultimate gang, and although it's a good thing, i feel the need to hang out with the people i work with more. i'll see the ultimate people once school starts, but i won't see the orientation and souvenir store gang as much. so (i think i've mentioned this before), i'm going to work on chillin' with the non-ultimate people.
okee dokee, i'm done blogging for now; time to rest before another crazy week begins. gym at 7:00 a.m. goodnight.
