just four days

....until the weekend. and our second ladies' night of the year. we're having a sleepover at kris's place in watertown on friday night with chinese food, margaritas, smoothies, gossip, and time with the ladies. i'm really excited about it because i think it'll be the thing that brings us together for the season. but i can't think too far ahead because i'll easily forget that i have a pile of reading to do before friday comes.

yesterday was uneventful, as i remember. kris and i went to the gym at 6, she went to work, and i went to class, then i helped out at oocs for a couple of hours, went to my second class of the day, and then to the souvenir store to finish the afternoon. it was a good tuesday. then i came home and made more beef stew for my roomies and me. kris got back from class just as the food was ready, so we ate, chatted a bit, she read one of her two science textbooks, and i did my japanese homework. i chatted with mike for a bit after i was done, and then went to sleep around 1:15....the earliest i've been to bed in a while.

this morning, i woke up, went to the gym, got in a really good workout (today was a leg workout), showered, and walked to campus with kris. she slept in today. class today was really cool. i wrote my first game story in sports journalism. i think i did an okay job. i'll see what my professor says on monday. then i went to oocs. today was moving day. oocs moved to the lower level of the gsu (where the csc used to be), and today was the big switch-a-roo. it was kind of crazy. i just have to remember to go to the lower level tomorrow after class instead of to the fourth floor. oh, random thought, there is a cute guy who works at the sao front desk on wednesdays....too bad we're not office neighbors anymore. oh well. i didn't really talk to him anyway....but there was always the possibility. anywho, after moving at oocs, i went to japanese class and struggled to stay awake during the last 20 minutes. but i made it....barely. after class i had lunch with jasper at warren. we talked about jersey stuff and random topics....the typical conversation i usually have with jasper. but it was cool, and we had a good time. then i came back, picked up my packages of hawai'i goodies from the mailroom, chatted with mike for a bit, and then took a two-hour nap. word to two-hour naps. i woke up aroun 8:30, walked over to the ttc to meet up with kris, said hi to the gang that was running, dropped off some stuff for jasper and steve magnusson, and then came back to the apartment. i was semi-productive tonight: between reading for media law and talking with kris, i managed to (cumulatively) finish a chapter of reading. which is a lot for me. hooray.

now, i'm finishing this blog, chatting with mike, listening to the album "big boi and dr. dre present..." by outkast, and reading media law....well, i guess i'm not really reading. but it's time for me to sleep so i can get up on the morning to go to the gym.
